Wer oder was bestimmt die Zeit im Universum? Warum und wieso kann die Zeit für eine gewisse “Zeit” oder eine bestimmte Zeit existieren? Wie kann man die Zeit verlangsamen oder zurücksetzen? Zumindest so wie wir es hier auf der Erde kennen, basiert die Zeit auf dem Zyklus der “Erde”. Das Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum, in dem wir uns gerade bewegen, bestimmt unsere angegebene Zeit. Das Universum ist unendlich groß und bietet eine Fülle von unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten zur Erforschung. Bei den letzten astronomischen Entdeckungen wurde festgestellt, dass sich der Raum immer schneller ausdehnt: Je schneller sich der Raum ausdehnt, desto schneller vergeht die Zeit. Wo ist die gute Nachricht? Nun, ich habe keine Ahnung… Ich denke darüber nach! Die Ausdehnung des Universums ist ein faszinierendes Phänomen, das direkte Auswirkungen auf die Zeit hat. Seit dem Urknall dehnt sich das Universum ständig aus. Diese Ausdehnung führt dazu, dass die Zeit im Universum nicht überall gleich verläuft. In Gebieten mit starker Gravitation, wie in der Nähe eines schwarzen Lochs, vergeht die Zeit langsamer als in Gebieten mit schwacher Gravitation. Dieses Phänomen wird als Zeitdilatation bezeichnet.
